Pamperito Equestrian School stood out in Rivera Achieving standing positions
Children between 9 and 13 years competed on a new date of the International Equestrian League achieving standing positions in several categories.
The effort of the instructor and their families is essential to participate in this type of competitions to which the riders do not travel but also the horses are transfers.
“This month the date was disputed in Rivera, within the framework of the 127th anniversary of the Cavalry Regiment 3. Always around August 8 is celebrated there and it is the largest championship that has long existed on that date, including people from all over the country” commented Guillermo Saldaña.
“Happily the students of the equestrian Pamperito walked well, they obtained very good performances on the tracks they made and in the championship” assured.
“In the school categories that are 60, 80 and 90 centimeters we went with several members and walked very well. In category 60 we obtained the 4th place with Juana Soria and in category 80 centimeters we obtained 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize with Tomás Larrañaga, Paulina Fagúndez and Juana Soria respectively” The instructor revealed.
“In 90 centimeters they walked very well, but by hundredths we were not in the marking. These competitions are defined by who makes less faults and is closer to optimal time” explained. “Yes, the riders were not achieved, no matter how little the optimal time was achieved.” He added.
Saldaña said that the idea is that children learn to gallop in the right cadence so that they do not run much and thus minimize the risk of accidents. “Yes, they walked very well, riding very well with 0 missing, due to details they were not in the top positions. The main thing is that they mount well because then the results will come alone” He pointed out.
“We are talking about boys between 9 and 12 years. Those are the ones who are jumping in the school category. Then we already have young people with 15 and 17 who are already jumping into higher categories. They also made very good clues, but they already compete with large people who have much more experience” said.
He clarified that around 80 riders throughout Uruguay participated in each of the categories. “Ours worked very well but did not obtain the results that were achieved in the Escuelita category” accurate.
An intense calendar
