The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, said that the Venezuelan people mobilize this Monday to express their support to President Nicolás Maduro, and reject the actions that the United States has taken against him and condemn the attempts of terrorist acts that seek to affect the peace of the country.
Through the reading of a statement, Cabello said that from the political awning they will defend the peace of Venezuela to deal with isolated fascists, defeated and without mobilization capacity that resort to terrorism.
In this regard, he indicated that neither the explosives left last Sunday, August 3 in the adjacencies of Plaza Venezuela, nor those that were exposed in a shed of the Monagas state, scare the national government.
From the party they set a position and expressed the union that is to defend the Constitution, the sovereignty and the peace of the country.
Cabello stressed that they reject the actions that have arisen in recent days against Venezuela by “the extremist opposition sectors that without any shame, or love for the homeland, have been delivered totally and absolutely to imperialism.”
He said that they have observed how from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces he has expressed its full support to the Constitutional President, as well as the energetic rejection of these actions that from some parts of the world have demonstrated, among them, social movements outside and within the nation through the pronouncements.
“Some immorations believe that this is a subject only from Venezuela, if it works with Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia, they go for others, it is the route that has defined imperialism to hegemonize what they think will be their domain of the world,” he said.
“We defend peace and President Nicolás Maduro, says the statement.” At the same time he added: “No to fascist terrorism.”
He recalled that last week he and the Head of State denounced a closure of terrorist acts that sought to take the extreme right (headed by María Corina Machado) in the country with the placement of explosive artifacts in the country of high destructive power, with the logistical support of the drug traffickers of Álvaro Uribe in Colombia and the Albanese in Ecuador, together with criminal gangs national.
