Professionals interested in participating in the program now has specialists have until this Sunday (10) to register, through the Platform of the Open University of the Unified Health System (UNA-SUS). The announcement for the provision and training of doctors already experts was launched in late July.
The program aims to reduce waiting time for SUS. There are 635 immediate vacancies and 1,143 for reserve registration, totaling 1,700 vacancies for medical experts who, according to the Ministry of Health, will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge in places where there is a lack of professionals.
“The presence of experts in unassisted regions is fundamental to ensure full access to SUS services, avoiding prolonged displacements of the population in search of specialized service,” said the folder, by means of a note.
Practical activity in public hospitals and polyclinics, according to the Ministry, will be the differential of the 16 improvement courses that make up the programconducted by professionals from hospitals from the Institutional Development Support Program of the Unified Health System (Proadi-SUS) and the network of the Brazilian Company of Hospital Services (EBSERH).
“Participants will have 16 hours per week dedicated to care and four hours per week of educational activities, including remote mentoring and immersions in reference services in priority specialties for SUS, such as oncology and gynecology. Each course will last 12 months,” said the folder.
