He National Land Transportation Institute (INTT)began a day of road demarcation from last August 04 to 8, in several sectors of the parishes El Valle, the Pastora and Caricuao from the city of Caracas. In the 31 Mechanized Infantry Brigade Lucas Carvallo “, located in Strong Tiunaa total of 345.84 square meters were demarcated, while in the parking lot of the Dr. José María Vargas hospital, 838.66 meters were demarcated. Also, on streets one, two and three of the UD7, in Ruiz Pineda; as well as in a section of the Vieja Caracas-Los Teques road, 1,745.70 square meters were delineated.
In these areas demarcations were carried out that include continuous and discontinuous lines, Legends, arrows, brocales, transport stops, school zones and physical and virtual speed reducersadjusting to the specific characteristics and needs of each urban space. For his part, Amada Centeno, a resident of the community of Caricuao, highlighted the importance of demarcation work carried out by this institution.
“I have been going through here and the INT is demarcating the lines. It seems very important to me because It helps us cross the streets; It is especially useful for me, that I am in a wheelchair, ”he said.
In this sense, Yanet PinedaPeace Judge of the main avenue of Ruiz Pineda, said that in the parish they feel happy for this work they do with the demarcation. “The Bolivarian government demonstrates the love for the conservation of our spaces and the beautification of the streets.”
The rehabilitation of the main land routes of the country is a task that the INT executes through its general engineering management, with the objective of keep road in optimal conditions and thus contribute to the strengthening of safe mobility for communities.
