Still under the aftermath riot that paralyzed the work of the National Congress For about 36 hours last week, the House of Representatives intends to define the agenda of voting for the next sessions. On Tuesday (12), the president of the house, Hugo Motta, gathers with the party leaders to close the next votes.
The parliamentarians of the Allied base want to take advantage of the meeting to guide the vote, in plenary, Bill that increases the exemption range the Income Tax (IR) for those who earn up to R $ 5,000 monthlypartially reduces the tribute to those who earn up to $ 7,000 and increase the charge for those who receive more than $ 600,000. In July, the proposal was approved in a symbolic vote by the House Special Commission.
There was the possibility of the House plenary to vote the project last week, but the Occupation of the Board of Directors by opposition parliamentarians paralyzed the work of the house. They protested against the house arrest of former President Jair Bolsonaro and asked the general amnesty for those convicted of the coup attempt on January 8.
Hours after the eviction of the plenary, Motta denied that the resumption of control of activities in the House was conditioned to a possible vote on the amnesty.
“The presidency of the House is non -negotiable. I want this to be very clear. The mayor does not negotiate his prerogatives, either with opposition, nor with the government, nor with absolutely anyone, ”said Motta.
On Friday (8) at night, Motta forwarded the complaints against parliamentarians to the Chamber of the Chamber. The mayor will await an opinion from the corregedor, Deputy Diego Colonel (PSD-BA), before sending the representations to the House’s Ethics Council. The conclusion of the analysis of the images is scheduled for Wednesday (13).
