Due to different positions on certain topics between feminist organizations, tomorrow Monday two civil society forums will be held, prior to the XVI Regional Conference on Women of Latin America and the Caribbean.

One of them is the feminist forum, linked to the international meeting, which will bring together national feminist and the region, while the other is the alternate feminist forum, in which members of some 60 groups that repudiated the terms of the call to the official forum participate.

They detailed that this meeting will be on August 11 As critical prelude of the XVI Regional Conference on Women, which will be inaugurated by President Claudia Sheinbaum, UN authorities and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). This international meeting will be from August 12 to 15 at the Tlatelolco University Cultural Center.
