The team of Brazil agency Communicates with immense weighing the death of the journalist and publisher Nádia Batista Franco (73), which took place this Saturday (9). 
Nádia (Photo – Centro) was ill during a trip to Paracatu (MG), city of her family. The suspicion is that death occurred as a result of a heart attack.
Nádia studied at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and began her career in the newspaper Correio Braziliense. Worked 49 years in Brazil Communication Company (EBC) and in previous companies that gave rise to the public communication system. For most of that time, she acted in Brazil agency As a publisher, having also been a writing manager.
Known for elegance and appreciation for the word, the journalist was a reference for colleagues and new generations.
“Nádia was a correct and polite professional. He dominated the Portuguese language very well. I met her in the early 70’s in Correio Braziliense,” says the editor of Brazil agency Kleber Sampaio.
Denise Gresinger publisher also regrets Nádia’s death.

Digital Journalism Manager at EBCJuliana Cézar Nunes celebrates Nádia’s trajectory and emphasizes the journalist’s commitment to readers.
“Care for text and zeal with information are teachings that will continue to guide us,” says Juliana. “Our feelings to the family, especially brothers and nephews, and friends in this moment of pain and eternal longing.”
The journalist’s funeral began last night and the burial is scheduled for 5 pm on Sunday in Paracatu.
