Eight out of ten executive women were relocated to a job with the same or better position than the previous one

In 2021, 83% (8 out of 10) of the who participated in its ‘outplacement’ programs were able to relocate to a job with the same or higher position than the one they had previously, according to statistics from LHH DBM Peru.

Regarding the level of income (income), 76% of the executive women participating in the ‘outplacement’ programs managed to relocate with a higher or equal salary.

Inés Temple, president of LHH DBM Peru and LHH Chile, pointed out that the participation of women in outplacement programs continues to increase and thanks to the tools and knowledge offered by the firm, and also because they are committed to their careers professionals and have more ambition for their lives, women manage to relocate to work with better positions and salaries.

Change of sector

According to statistics from LHH DBM Peru, 71% of executive women who participated in outplacement programs relocated to a different sector from which they came. “Today women dare to jump to other sectors in search of a better quality of life for themselves and their families.Temple said.

In addition, 78% of executive women were relocated to a dependent job. Only 22.03% decided to relocate to an independent job (own business, consultancy or active retirement).

The network of contacts continues to be a fundamental tool for relocations. In 2021, 81.5% of women were relocated through the network of contacts. They also obtained it through a job search agency that reached 7.6%, and the Internet tool based on Linkedln reached 5.4% “Today’s women are more proactive with their development and with their contact networks because they aspire more for themselves” , said.

Profile of female executive graduates

In 2021, 32% of the participants in LHH DBM Peru’s outplacement programs were women. 50% of them have an MBA or master’s degree. Regarding the level of English, 35% of executive women have a level of English considered “Good” and another 35% have a level considered “Excellent”.

41% of the women were between 30 and 40 years old, 36% between 41 and 50 years old and 18% between 51 and 60 years old. Likewise, 48% of the women participating in the outplacement programs were professionals, 32% executives, 16% senior executives and 3% ICEO (senior executives).
