President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva criticized this Friday (8), in an event in Rio Branco (AC), the occupation of the directors of the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate by opposition parliamentarians, Occurred earlier this week. He also asked Senator Sérgio Petecão (PSD-AC), present at the ceremony, who does not sign an impeachment request from the Supreme Court Minister (STF), Alexandre Moraes. 
“You, [senador Sérgio] Petecão [PSD-AC]Please do not sign impeachment request from Alexandre Moraes, because it is guaranteed democracy. Who should have impeachment are these deputies and senators who are trying to strike so as not to allow the House and Senate to work. True traitors of the homeland, ”said Lula.
The riot of the opposition began after Moraes decree the house arrest of former President Jair Bolsonaro. The former president is a defendant for attempted coup and is also being investigated for obstruction of criminal proceedings, after actions by the United States against Brazilian trade and the sanction of the White House against Moraes.
Entered into force last Wednesday (6), the 50% tariffs imposed on part of Brazilian exports to the US country. The measure, signed on July 30 by US President Donald Trump, affects 35.9% of goods sent to the US market, representing 4% of Brazilian exports. About 700 products from Brazil were out of tariff.
The measure is part of Trump’s new White House policy of raising tariffs against business partners in an attempt to reverse the relative loss of competitiveness from the American economy to China in recent decades. In a letter, Trump also justifies the actions in retaliation to Brazil to decisions that, according to him, would harm the Big Techs US and in response to Bolsonaro’s trial.

In a speech, today, Lula said that the Brazilian government will ensure that exporters have no damage and defended the country’s sovereignty in their internal themes. THE Contingency plan To help the sectors affected by the tariff should come out by next Tuesday (12).

The president also highlighted Brazil’s foreign trade policy, with the opening of 400 new markets in the last two years. He said, for example, that he will mediate the sale of chicken foot to China after the resumption of the status of avian flu.
“Next week, do you know what my task is? Call China and ask China to buy $ 1 billion chicken foot that is stopped because of avian flu. And I’m going to say avian flu is over,” he said. China is the largest buyer of Brazilian chicken meat and suspended imports after outbreaks of the disease in the country.
Deliveries in Acre
Lula participated in a federal government investment ads in Acre in areas such as infrastructure, transport, energy, education and land regularization. The event took place at Cooperacre, in Rio Branco, a cooperative that is a reference in the production of nuts in Brazil.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the announcement of works and repairs on BR 364, a federal highway that crosses Acre and by which the state production flows. The highway will receive R $ 870.9 million for maintenance and recovery in four lots, with the potential to generate more than 12,500 direct and indirect jobs. The works will cover excerpts that cross 12 of the 22 Acre municipalities.
The Luz for All program will have investments of R $ 235 million in new works in Acre, which will serve 6,000 families in remote regions. Service orders were signed to execute the second stage for 2,500 families, and the third stage, to 3,500 families.
In the area of education, resources were announced for improvements to the Acre Federal Institute (IFAC) campuses, which includes the creation of a new campus in Feijó with R $ 25 million from the new Growth Acceleration Program (PAC).
At the event in Rio Branco were also delivered 152 property titles in settlement projects and announced new rural credits for installation of settlers. There were also signed ordinances that create two new settlements.
Through the Amazon Fund, managed by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), investments were formalized in order to boost ecological restoration and sustainable development. Among them, the Chico Mendes Memorial Project signed a contract of R $ 9 million to guarantee access to drinking water to 282 families in Acre, under the Sanear Amazon project – drinking water for Amazonian communities.
BNDES and SOS Amazonia also signed a contract of R $ 24 million to strengthen sustainable production by family farming, including indigenous peoples and traditional communities, as well as enable the acquisition and consumption of these foods in public schools. The funds will be part of the Amazon program at school.
