In a paradox of Mexican politics, everything that has not been able to do the oppositions to the Morena-Government binomial are doing their own militants with their mistakes, their ostentation and bad decisions.
The bets of many in the sense that Trump would impose disastrous tariffs to Mexico and that this would weaken Claudia Sheinbaum (CS) already their government have been failed. Tariffs have not been so burdensome, exports to the United States continue to grow, although at a lower pace. The president has not received the abuse that other foreign leaders have suffered at the hands and mouth of Trump.
Seeing Zelenski Ya Trudeau, being the subject of verbal vexations or Mrs. Ursula von der leys shrunk before the orange man’s diatribes has been a worldwide humiliation and a violation of diplomatic standards. None of this has happened to the Mexican president, to which he recognizes intelligence and preparation.

The links go beyond the appointment of Hernán Bermúdez Requena as Secretary of Security during his passage through the governorship of Tabasco, there are also businesses and relatives that link them. Impossible for López Hernández not to know about the adventures of his subaltern.
Despite the evidence, President Sheinbaum has granted her impunity pass by adducing reasons that she does not apply in the case of her adversaries. Proguenean media have begun to give information that presses the former Secretary of the Government of AMLO. It is not known if this continues to support it, but it is possible that the relationship between the two goes beyond politics.
Another of the issues that have tried to use oppositions are the famous lists. There are in several and beautiful presentations. There is talk of a list of Morena and allies politicians who were removed from the visas to enter the United States. Others speak of a second list with names of politicians and officials to whom the White House wants to take judgment for its links with the narco. There are several names and data. There is also talk of how imminent it is that they ask for the arrest and extradition of Manuel Bartlett for the murder of the Agent of the DEA, Kiki Camarena, in the 80s. It is argued that the Mexican capos in the hands of the US authorities saved their lives denouncing many politicians.
The fact is that days go by and the famous lists lose their impact as news. But what does not lose its impact are the images of politicians and officials of the 4T going on vacation without republican austerity or giving the great life. Mario Delgado, Ricardo Monreal, Layda Sansores, Andy López Beltrán or José Ramón López Beltrán in Japan, Spain, Portugal or Italy, staying in very expensive hotels and with expensive clothes and watches of tens of thousands of pesos. The increasingly ridiculous hurry of the president pointing out that we have to behave “with humility” or those of Luisa María Mayor pointing out that if they have resources it is convenient to hide. The real thing is that there is a smooth and flat disobedience to the calls of both presidents.
Organized crime is also a great headache. What is the use of every 15 days the security cabinet defeats organized crime in statistics if reality is perceived different? The brutal film murder of fiscal delegate Ernesto Vázquez Reyna in Tamaulipas, the failure to stop the Mencho, the evasion of Zhi Dong Zhang, the Huachicol and the fiscal huachicol, the territories controlled by cartels, the collection of floor, among other crimes are accumulating. The evidence indicates that there are people of the 4T who are involved in these illicit and elements of the colluded armed forces. Will the viper bite its own tail? I don’t believe it.
As a scenographic background are the 2027 elections. The leaders of the Morenista, Petistas and Greens tribes know that being a candidate is practically the victory at the polls, so they are willing to fight to death. Claudia does not have the dominance over the party that had her predecessor, but she knows that an open confrontation could be disastrous.
And the oppositions? Good question.
