The sectorial vice president of politics, citizen security and peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported Thursday that so far this year, they have seized 52,000 kilos of drugs through anti -narcotics operations, which cataloged like a hard blow to drug trafficking or better known as the “Narcoband.”
He explained that for almost seven months a criminal alliance has been denounced that has been constituted by the opposition sectors and that has also been publicly declared as a legion.
He explained that within this organization drug traffickers, conspirators and criminal gangs of all nature are included. At the same time, he stressed that the bands that made life in Venezuela have gone, and that those who remain (some) have been protected in Colombia by former presidents Andrés Pastrana, Álvaro Uribe, Iván Duque and Juan Manuel Santos.
“We have denounced it, we have said, we have talked about the financial ties here, we have talked about the amount of material that we have recovered and seized.”
He added that these drug traffickers have associated with the end of generate violence in the country, “Because they believe they will generate a change of government, they believe they will achieve the exit of President Nicolás Maduro or what they call, the end of the revolution,” he said.
He recalled that who works as a spokeswoman for the Narcoband (María Corina Machado), “has made statements that they will happen, that the good is coming, which are already here, they are mouths, they have always been mouths, that has helped us to precede them to their actions,” Cabello explained.
He said that from the United States, information from actors linked to Narcoband arrived, about violence that they intended to generate in military and police facilities, in public service stations, subway, electrical service and recreational sites, in order to generate the communicational impact “that they require.”
In hair opinion, the fight against drug trafficking in Venezuela is more effective since the Bolivarian Government broke relations with the United States drug control (DEA) to which it labeled as “the largest poster in the world”, which used Venezuelan officials to make “controlled tickets” of large drug loads, a practice that, according to him, has ceased from the breakdown of links.
