The Sullana Anti -Corruption Prosecutor visited the work where the improvement of tracks and paths in the Los Olivos popular urbanization is executed in the province of Sullana. In addition, Luciano Castillo Colonna of the Piura Regional Government intervened in the sub -regional management, because the work would be paralyzed, although it had to be completed last May 2025.

The representatives of the Public Ministry reached the work where the “Improvement of the Urban Mobility Service in the Urb. Popular Los Olivos, Block 1, Eastern Sector”, which has a contracted amount of 7’458,000 soles, to verify in situ, the situation in which these works are, despite the fact that this work, among so many extensions, must culminate last May 2025.
Apparently, the visit to this work, which was announced between drums and dishes by the regional government in October 2024, would have already been canceled in its entirety, despite this is unfinished.
Its culmination was scheduled for March 26, 2025, however, another extension was granted again and this had to be completed in May, but would remain unfinished.
It is in that sense that, the personnel of the second office of the Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, in charge of the provincial prosecutor Jack Trelles and the attached prosecutors Miguel Saldarriaga and Juan Zeña reached the facilities of the Luciano Castillo Colonna sub -regional direction, in Sullana, to collect the documentation and information that help to clarify the situation of these works that should benefit hundreds of families of this popular urbanization located in the pearl Chira.
It should be noted that the supervisor of the work, Juan Fernández, would have denied that some term extension be approved, since 15 days before the end date of the contract, the works were suspended and after the resumption of the works, the executor did not culminate the work within the contractual period, so the maximum penalty of 10% of the value of the work by Mora was applied.
