The Exports Peruvians grew 20.2% in the first half of the year, compared to the same 2024 period, and added US $ 40,098 million, the Association of Exporters (ADEX) reported.
According to the guild, this growth responded mainly to the best mineral prices. Only copper and its derivatives represented 28.4% of the total value of what was marketed.
In that sense, he said that between January and June, traditional shipments amounted to US $ 25,942 million for the highest sales of copper and gold. A strong dynamism of non -traditional fishing was also observed, as well as primary agriculture and hydrocarbons.
For their part, non -traditional shipments reached US $ 10,442 million, reflecting an evolution of 22.3%. Eleven sectors closed in blue, including agribusiness, fishing and aquaculture, chemical, sidermetalurgy, clothing, metalworking and textile.
The game that highlighted for amount was that of avocados with an increase of 14.1%. Others were fresh grapes, frozen pota, cocoa, blueberries, refined copper wire, mangoes, natural calcium phosphates, red zinc, sheets and copper strips, among others.
Destination countries
Adex said that China remained a leader with 36.9% of the total. The European Union, meanwhile, replaced the United States in second place and with a 10.9%participation. The northern country took third place.
“Exports to the US continue to grow, but not to the rhythm of previous years. We cannot say that there is a widespread affectation, but there are sectors beaten such as jewelry and forest industry,” said the director of the Scientism, Edgar Vásquez Vela.
