Thus, the president of CADE Executives 2025, María Isabel Leónannounced the realization of the event between November 4 and 6 at the Lima Convention Center (San Borja), under the motto “Firm in the action, for the homeland!”
The representative of the annual conference highlighted the importance of entrepreneurs being more linked to the development of the country. In that sense, he said that in addition to the contribution of resources made by business, accompaniment to leaders and authorities through private public associations (app) or tax works (OXI) is necessary. “It has always been known that the business sector is better manager, the public is not,” he added.
“The great challenges of Peru cannot continue to postpone. This is a call to the leaders who want to act, propose and transform. The time to assume responsibilities is now. (…) The private sector must have a direct participation that is not seen as a lobby, but as work tables between them and the public sector,” he said.
For this reason, he indicated that a joint work is necessary to improve the competitiveness of the country, and that the authorities that assume the management next year, are “properly chosen so that we are not wrong again.”
But the call of María Isabel León not only went to the private ones. He recalled that today the State is loaded with bureaucracy and over -regulation, which takes investments, and this is something that has to change.
“The reduction of over -regulation can work better at the beginning of a government. You have to be very clear what are the bottlenecks so that investments are moving forward, so that they can be relieved,” he said.
LEADERSHIP
For his part, the president of IPAE Business Action, Gonzalo Galdos, considered that in the country there is a leadership crisis and another of management capacity that has to be improved.
“Citizenship is in search of new leaders, in a guiding sense about what the country should follow. Within that search he has put their eyes on businessmen and demands a position in relation to the situation we live,” he added.
This situation, he said, leads to the private sector having an active participation in the search for solutions and in the demand for political leaders to do a better job.
Similarly, he pointed out that this sector will not be able to build a sustainable company in a country that does not follow that sustainability line. It is then that he pointed out that the business fabric must aim that growth always means development.
“We are convinced that, only recovering the authority of the State, strengthening institutions and making brave decisions, we can direct the country towards development,” he added.
