In the Sierra Maestra neighborhood, San Francisco municipality of the Zulia state, Adrián José Vázquez Urdaneta, 26 years old, was arrested for allegedly being involved in acts of sexual abuse against two minor children, a crime contemplated in the law against the protection of the child, girls and adolescent, review local media.
At the request of the Director General of Polisur, Erich Rafael Gómez Barreto, the officers made the capture after a citizen denounced that his children aged 11 and nine had told him that his uncle sexually abused them.
The complaint was filed before the police institution. A commission made a preventive patrol in the sector and managed to locate the citizen, who was on 18th Street with 15th Avenue in the Sierra Maestra neighborhood.
During the arrest, a body review was performed and a blue Huawei brand cell phone was seized. The detainee was transferred to the Doctor Manuel Noriega Trigo hospital along with the victims for medical assessment.
Gómez Barreto was referred to the Preventive Center for shelter and guarantees of the apprehended and notified to the Public Ministry, which ordered all the relevant actions to present it to the Courts of Justice.
