A month from the pilot test to incorporate working people from digital platforms to the mandatory regime of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), there have been more than one million 200 thousand drivers and distributors, so that they can access various benefits in health and social security, said Alejandro Salafranca Vázquez, head of the Labor Unit of the Secretariat of Labor and Social Security (STPS).
He also said that this year the second dispersion for 411 million pesos will be made for the sale of the training center, the simulator and two Mexican aviation buildings.
By participating in the General Assembly commemorating the Trade Union Association of Aviator Pilots (ASPA) of Mexico, he recalled that the first dispersion of resources for the sale of the Mexican brand and emblem of Aviation, which amounted to 817 million pesos, was carried out in August 2023, when the first checks were distributed to former workers.
The second payment had to be made in September of that same year, but there was a due delay, among other reasons, to the change of sexenium.
For his part, the Secretary General of Pilots, Jesús Ortiz, thanked the authorities for their commitment to disperse this year the pending resources of Mexican workers, and asked to follow up on the case of Aeromar pilots, who are still waiting for a fair work termination.
He called the Judiciary to pronounce himself in favor of the most charging airborne pilots and thanked the STPs for including them in the Aspa register.
