With the aim of continuing to strengthen the ties of strategic cooperation and friendship, with the Republic of Mali; The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, holds a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation of Mali, Abdoulaye Diop.
With this meeting, more than 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations are reaffirmed, which have been governed by the historical commitment to promote peace and security, shared visions towards the same destination, particularly the fight against imperialism, territorial defense, the development and well -being of the peoples.
It is of interest to mention, yesterday, August 4, the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, stressed that with this is also ratified cooperation in strategic sectors, Bolivarian peace diplomacy, friendship links and the construction of a multicenter and multipolic world.
He also stressed that they are currently Malian in the country, which have already gone through the undergraduate formation process; Reason why they have already maintained a series of conversations, to advance in the granting of thirty (30) new scholarships for Malian students in Venezuela.
In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Mali, Abdoulaye Diop, will maintain a series of meetings, during the week, with the Minister of Popular Power for Agriculture; the Minister of Popular Power for University Education; The Executive Secretariat of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Treaty of Commerce of the Peoples (ALB-TCP).
In addition to these meetings, it will also participate in an exchanging experiences with the Latin American Union system and the Confederation system The Alliance of States, with the firm purpose of exploring new paths of participation to strengthen solidarity and forge strategic alliances.
Venezuela and Mali sign memorandum to deepen new alliances
Along these lines, the Venezuelan Chancellor said that the final act of the II Meeting of the Political Consultation Mechanism between Venezuela and Mali was already signed, with total success to strengthen the bilateral alliance.
According to the provisions of countries, among the aspects embodied in the memorandum, it is proposed to intensify collaboration in key areas such as education, health, energy, agriculture, commerce, industry and finance.
During the meeting between the national president and Foreign Minister Maliense, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Africa, Yuri Pimentel, was present, who received the authority on August 2 at the “Simón Bolívar” International Airport.
