Former President Pastrana visited Álvaro Uribe after being sentenced to 12 years

The former president Andrés Pastrana visited the ex -president Álvaro Uribe Vélez and his wife Lina Moreno to express his solidarity in the midst of the judicial situation facing the leader of the Democratic Center.

The meeting was held after the 44th Criminal Court of the Circuit of Bogotá issued a home insurance measure against Uribe, after finding it guilty of the crimes of procedural fraud and bribery in criminal action. The decision generated a political stir and the Democratic Center assured that it was a decision for political purposes.
