The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, explained that through the Ayacucho Plan, great changes must be deepened within the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), which is why, approved the creation of the CyberDefense Directorate, since the military body has high -level professionals.
From Villa Zoila, Caracas, the Head of State addressed the General Commander of the GNB, Elio Estrada Paredes, the Military High Command and the General Staff of the GNB; to those who also informed them that you have to delve more force through the following actions:
- The fight against terrorism and terrorists, through the direction against terrorism.
- Incorporation of the National Environmental Nursery Command for Ecosocialism, to the Great Mission «Mother Earth Venezuela».
- Activation of the National Safety and Road Aid, to continue protecting highways, roads and roads throughout the country and the commands of the GNB areas.
- Military Health Bases, Logistic Support Points, the coastal surveillance brigades for the entire coastal and river axis.
- Creation of 41 new units for the national development of the People’s Guard.
- Activation of 51 new territorial detachments and the expansion of capacity and strength the GNB.
For this reason, the FANB commander in chief stressed that the military body is a historical concept that has been built for 200 years, and is the direct heiress of the United Army Liberator of Bolívar, Sucre and Urdaneta.

«The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) must be in charge of the great revolutionary transformations that our country is experiencing with the plan of the 7 transformations and the Ayacucho Plan, ”said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, during the celebration of the 88th anniversary of the State Security Corps.

The Head of State stressed that, at present, the concepts of the FANB are clearer and more precise, together with all its components, the strategic regions of Integral Defense (Redi), its areas of Integral Defense (Zodi), and areas of Integral Defense (ADI), together with the Strategic Plan to defend the homeland, since “today we are a single force, the FANB”
Fanb: Perfect fusion
In this context, the national dignitary recalled that terrorist attack that was executed 7 years ago, on August 4, which he described as an unforgettable date, because it was when 81 years of the Bolivarian National Guard were turned.
In this sense, he dislocated that this was the first attack they made with drones to try a magnicide, in view of one of the drones exploded above one of the GNB -formed troops, thus hurting young professionals, and the other hit residential areas, generating material damage.

200 years of the foundation of the Plurinational State of Bolivia
On the other hand, he expressed regarding the ideals of the freedom of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Commander Chávez, who in the next few days Venezuela will celebrate in style, the 200 years of the creation of the Republic of Bolívar, by the deliberative assembly of the towns of Alto Peru, since on August 6, 200 years will be completed from the foundation of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
Therefore, he said: «Our beloved Bolivia, the favorite daughter of the Liberator. And there was the United Liberator Army that arose from our grandparents and grandmothers. We are heirs and direct children of his sword, of his liberating force, because it was our army who, from this land, marched to be free of the Republic ».
Finally, the national president emphasized that from the struggle for freedom and peace, it is the one that we come, therefore, the concept of Bolívar resumed it “our infinite commander, Hugo Chávez Frías.”
