“Just a few hours ago we have learned unofficially that C. Sandra Lucía Téllez, a partner owner of the ABC nursery, is detained in the detention center of the city of Eloy Arizona, as a result of the red card delivered to Interpol,” said the collective in a statement.
In an open letter addressed to the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum and the head of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), Alejandro Gertz Manero, the collective formed by fathers and mothers of victims of the ABC nursery asks for the extradition of Téllez to face the Mexican justice.
“We ask that the Mexican State do what is necessary for C. Sandra Lucía Téllez Nieves to be deported and extradited to our country and is made available to the Mexican authorities to enter it to the corresponding prison and comply with the final and firm sentence decreed against him for the death and injuries of our sons and daughters,” says the pronouncement signed by Juana Luna Hernández, president of the collective.

Téllez had a first sentence in 2016 to 28 years and 11 months in jail, however, in June it was reduced to five years and seven months in prison. For three years a re -apprehension order against him has been weighing.
