Almost four months have passed since Adrián, a six -year -old boy, mysteriously disappeared in Tingo María. His mother, Michael Segovia Crispín, was found lifeless ten days later on the Huallaga River, but until today there is no news of the child. Uncertainty grows and its search has spread through different regions of the country, without conclusive results.
As reported by the family, Michael and Adrián left a party on the night of April 8 after a phone call. It was the last time they were seen together. The necropsy confirmed that the mother died from suffocation by submersion, discarding other causes, but the motorcycle in which they were traveling and the child’s whereabouts remain a mystery.
Adrián’s mother – who lives in Lima – has undertaken the search alone, without support from the paternal family, he denounced. “First they said it was an accident, but nobody explains to me where my son is,” he claimed. He also demanded that the secret of Michael’s telephone communications rise, a key step to clarify what happened.
A possible sighting of the child in Arequipa, selling candies with a clown, generated hopes. However, after the intervention of the street artist, the child was not found. The mother, without surrendering, chopped the area with photos in an attempt to find clues.
Adrián’s last recording is of his first day of class this year. Today, that video represents one of the few memories that keep the hope of finding it alive.
Meanwhile, the investigation is still open. The National Police keep an active search alert and asks citizens to collaborate with any information that helps find the child.
