A group of 29 schoolchildren and 22 parents suffered an accident this morning when the tourist bus in which they were traveling and overturned on the Central Highway.
The incident occurred at kilometer 135 + 500 of the Lima-La Oroya route. Despite the seriousness of the incident, all occupants survived.
The Interior Ministry informed that passengers only resulted in injuries and that there were no deaths. After the accident, staff of the National Police arrived at the scene to carry out search, rescue and transfer of the injured to the hospital of La Oroya.
