The vice president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), rector Carlos Quintero, reported this Saturday that 100% of the voting tables for choice are already installed through suffrage to the councilors on behalf of the indigenous peoples.
Quintero also reported that the CNE has arranged 88 electoral centers for this electoral event to be held this Sunday, August 3. «This, without a doubt, is something unprecedented for the National Electoral Council, since we remember that on Sunday 27 the CNE carried out two electoral processes on the same day where, without a doubt, the institutionality of the vote was strengthened (…) on the one hand, we chose the 335 municipal mayors and councils and on the other hand, 5,336 projects of 37,080 projects that the youth had postulated from the discussions of discussions of Assemblies, discussing the real needs of the people ».
The Rector of the CNE said that at 6 am on Sunday, August 3, the electoral tables will be constituted and 7 in the morning will begin the opening of the electoral tables until 6 in the afternoon.
Similarly, Quintero announced that on Monday, August 4, the National Electoral Council has planned to be carrying out in these 69 municipal meetings the proclamation of these positions, “so that the municipal councils of these 69 municipalities can carry out the day and Monday and the installation of these municipal councils.”
