Taxpayers who try to download the program to file the Income Tax 2022 are encountering problems because of instability in both the portal and the application. According to the Revenue, the instability registered today (7) is due to the excess traffic on the site due to the high volume of hits.
“Due to the high number of hits in the early hours of this morning, the download of the program is showing instability”, said the Revenue, by means of a note.
The program to complete the 2022 Income Tax return is available for download on the website of the organ from this Monday. The IRS said it is already trying to solve the problem and recommends that taxpayers wait and try to do the download “again later.”
This year, the deadline for submitting the declaration is until 23:59 on April 29. The IRS expects to receive more than 34 million declarations.
The Declaration Generator Program is available at Revenue website for system users Windows, IOS and Linux. It will also be possible to declare online or by mobile devices, through the Meu Imposto de Renda app.
