To celebrate its 50 years of existence, the Petrobras Symphony Orchestra presents this weekend in São Paulo, two commemorative concerts. A classic, with works by Rossini and Tchaikovsky; and the multiplayer concert, with video game soundtracks.
The classic concert will be conducted by conductor Isaac Karabtchevsky and will be this Saturday (2), from 20h, at the Artistic Culture Theater. Tickets for this presentation are already exhausted. The program begins with the opening of La Gazza Ladra, opera in two acts of Rossini, known for his rhythmic energy and orchestral brightness. Then the public will be led by one of the most emblematic works of the romantic repertoire: Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5. Divided into four intense movements, the work explores themes such as destiny, overcoming and hope.
Already the Multiplayer concert will be conducted by conductor Felipe Prazeres on Sunday (3), from 14h, at the Sabesp Frei Caneca Theater. The program aims to celebrate pop culture, with orchestral arrangements for games like Super Mario, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Fortnite. Interested parties can withdraw the inputs through the Event website.
