Plators who hit the six dozen mega-sena will receive a larger slice of the prize. An ordinance of the Ministry of Finance’s Awards and Betting Secretariat raised from 35% to 45% the total for the main prize.
The news is valid since the 2,895 contest, drawn on Thursday (31) at night. However, as no one hit the six numbers, the first main prize with the new rules will be paid on Saturday (1st), if someone hits all dozens. The main prize is estimated at $ 85 million.
With the increase in main prices, the lower ranges will pay smaller awards. The Quina Award (five right dozen) fell from 19% to 13% of the amount intended for awards. The total intended for the court (four hits) retreated from 19% to 15%.
Mega da Virada
The ordinance also changed the percentages of Mega da Virada, a special holiday draw. For this lottery, 90% of the total for prizes will be for Sena, against 62% previous. The corner and the court will each receive 5% of the awards.
The percentage of the collection of regular contests intended for Mega da Virada doubled from 5% to 10%.
Mega-Sena has raffles three times a week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The minimum bet costs $ 6 and can be made until 19h of the day of the draw, both in lottery houses and in website Caixa Econômica Federal Officer.
