The Andean Central Railroad (FCCA) confirmed a new special departure from the Lima-Huancayo train for the holiday of August 6, 2025, within the framework of the commemoration of the Battle of Junín. The route will allow passengers to live one of the highest railway routes in the world, crossing 332 kilometers from the Andes mountain range.

The service includes cultural activities on board such as typical dances, live Andean music and regional dishes tastings, in addition to emblematic stops such as the San Bartolomé station and the Galera tunnel (4,781 meters above sea level).
The trip will leave at 7:00 am from the homeless station in Lima and will have a tour of approximately 12 hours. The return from Huancayo will be held on August 9 at the same time.

The tickets are sold only on the official FCCA page: www.ferrocarrilcentral.com.pe. Prices range from S/400 in the classic service and S/500 in the National Passenger Tourism Service.
The FCCA recalled that in the last exits the tickets sold out in minutes, so he recommended acquiring them in advance.
