The statute of Morena establishes that these groups will be gathered at least every 30 days and will do so in the municipality, city or province in which they lie. In addition, the members of each group must choose two representatives responsible for calling the meetings, which will be ordinary or extraordinary.
Territorial work will be with the intention of promoting the party for the 2027 elections, when 16 governors and 500 federal deputies are elected. The objective, they explained, is that in every corner the country has a morenista group promoting the vote in favor of the party.
The person in charge of the tasks will be the head of the Ministry of Organization, Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, because among his functions is the management of the organizational structure of the party, which is constituted with all these committees.
“Committees may be established from the place of residence of the protagonists, as well as according to their affinities, identities (gender, cultural, social, ethnic, etc.) or participation in sectoral activities (factories, schools, ejidos, agricultural communities, work centers, cultural, sports, socio-environmental, youth, etc.),” says the statute of Morena.
