Commercial agreement; Trump will impose a 15% tariff to South Korea

As part of the agreement, South Korea would invest 350,000 million dollars in the United States in selected projects and buy 100,000 million dollars of liquefied natural gas and other energy products, said the Republican.

It was not immediately clear how investment agreements or in what period would be structured. Trump said additional investments would be announced later.

Meanwhile, President Lee Jae Myung said that the Tariff Agreement with the United States would place South Korea on equal terms or in a better position than that of other countries.

He added that both countries had agreed to create an investment fund of 350,000 million dollars, of which 150,000 million would go to an association for naval construction.

Trump also said that South Korea would accept in their markets American products, including cars, trucks and agricultural products, and that they would not impose import tariffs.
