Seven people add up to their alleged connection with the double murder that occurred on July 13 in the emergency of the José María Vargas Hospital, Caracas, where Nora Herminia Silva Martínez (59) and Anderson Jesús Durán Berroterán (22) died. In that sense, the director of the Cicpc, Commissioner Douglas Rico, said that everything originated from a debt that the subject left in the United States.
Anderson Jesús came to Venezuela without paying such debt to a subject nicknamed the puppy, who hired some hitmen to give death to the debtor, Rico detailed.
On the day of the events, Anderson has been fleeing from some subjects who were shooting him and decides to hide in the emergency of the Vargas Hospital.
The gunmen enter the health center and kill Anderson Ya Nora. The latter “remains in the shooting line,” said the commissioner.
Rico stressed that although the CICPC participates in the investigations of the double homicide, the Bolivarian National Police achieved the capture of several authors of the crime. The detainees were identified as Luis Argenis Alba Ramos (30), alleged material author of the event; Leonardo Enrique Cuellas Sánchez (40); Johan Manuel Landaeta Alba (23); Gabriel Alejandro Ortega Molina (21); Kleibis Oriana Escobar Jiménez (27); Estefi Alejandra Gil Alba (20) and Freddy Alberto Flores Tachón (65), broken the police chief who added that he remains for arresting a subject nicknamed the MOIS.
“There is no other than justice doing its job,” said Rico, who praised coordinated work between the Cicpc and the UNB to clarify the double murder.
