The South African journalist, Nonkululeko Patricia Mantula, invited to break with the dominant narratives of the West and leave aside the barriers of the language, this with the purpose of promoting the vision of the pluripolar world.
Mantula also expressed that they have tried to restore the communicators for wanting to inform the truth, given this fact that “the journalists of the BRICS group are victims of the sanctions because we disseminate information that the West says it is false.”
His statements occurred in the context of the New World Voices Training Day that takes place in Caracas, international delegates of the Federative Republic of Brazil, South Africa, the Federation of Russia and the United States participate.
The day began with the intervention of Professor Fernando Horta, from Brazil, who stressed, after the interaction with those present, that the digital media exceeded the normal conversation.
“We have the faculty of the word and we have a series of communication capabilities. Digital communication exceeded all this and is important or more important, in terms of accesses, how the world sees us in the digital environment,” he said.
The delegate of Russia, Mikhail Zvinchuk, in his speech explained how through artificial intelligence political and social content is promoted.
“The most important part of the use of AI, have so far been electoral campaigns, today, can use it to promote candidates in particular; generate images of that candidate, and we see how bad people become good in the eyes of the audience, because IA can generate a lot of false information,” he warned.
