A Earthquake of Magnitude 4.0 reclaimed this morning the Ica region. The seismic event was reported by the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP) at 06:46 amwith an epicenter located 29 kilometers southwest of the city of Palpa.
According to the official report of the National Seismological Center, the earthquake had a depth of 38 kilometers. Geographical coordinates indicate a latitude of -14.71 and a length of -75.37.
So far no personal or material damage has been reported, although local authorities remain on alert to possible lower replicas or structural effects.
