The head of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Mario Delgado Carrillo, explained that students will receive two certificates: one of studies termination and another of professional technical training.

Tania Rodríguez Mora, Undersecretary of Higher Education, said that the common curricular framework will ensure that all students take subjects such as language, mathematics, sciences, humanities and English for comprehensive training that facilitates admission to higher education or the work world.
This common axis is accompanied by a technical training divided into basic and extended, with certification endorsed by higher education institutions.
The model also articulates the educational offer with strategic sectors of the country, such as those of the Mexico Plan, through active link with universities.
The SEP foresees next August an act headed by the president of the Republic to give the official flag to the first generation of the national baccalaureate.
