The mayor of Esteroos de Camaguán, Emilio Ávila, reported This Tuesday, July 29, that more than nine thousand families of the Population of Esteros de Camaguán, in the Guárico state, have been affected by the overflow of two rivers.
The overwhelmed rivers are the Portuguese and Apure, who have left the houses of these people flooded after heavy rains. The mayor indicated those affected are receiving food.

On the other hand, Civil Protection (PC) of Ciudad de Guayana, Bolívar State, has detailed on Tuesday, July 29 on Instagram that the level of the Orinoco River, the main country, has reached a point of “red alert”, the maximum warning, in the populations of El Jobal and Caicara.
This measurement is also registered in Puerto Ayacucho, capital of the state of Amazonas.
The rains, which began at the end of June, have left damage in much of the west of the country, specifically in the Apure, Barinas, Táchira, Trujillo, Mérida and Portuguese states.
