The publication, organized by Ediciones Achawata, will feature the participation of figures such as the historian Antonio Zapata and the academics César Coca and Natalí Durand.
The text, of 302 pages, addresses issues such as the foundation of the MRTA, the taking of the residence of the Japanese ambassador, the escape of Canto Grande and findings of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
The journalist Alvina Ruiz, in her column today in Peru21, He argues that spreading this work is not to promote the diversity of ideas, but to open the door to a narrative that aims to clean the blood with ink.
“Disseminating that book is giving a free pass to a narrative that seeks to clean the blood with ink. It is not censorship, it is about memory, dignity and respect for the victims,” he said.
