Pedro Brand.– A man who was a fugitive from justice for multiple crimes, including sicariato, homicide and violation, was shot dead Monday night when facing several police patrols in the community of La Guáyiga, of this municipality.
The alleged offender was identified as Virgi Alexander Vargas Gómezwho resulted in multiple gunshot wounds after firing at the agents trying to arrest him. Vargas Gómez was transferred to Dr. Vinicio Calventi hospital in Los Alcarrizos, where he died.

Vargas Gómez had gone viral on social networks and various digital platforms, where he exhibited the weapon he carried and boasted about his criminal activities.
The lifeless body was taken to the morgue of the Vinicio Calventi hospital and subsequently transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding purposes.
