THE Paraguayan actress Ana Brun, honored this year by the South American Film Festival (Cinesur), left this Monday (28) the mark of her hands for the posterity. Awarded at the Berlin Festival with the silver bear of best female interpretation by the movie The heirs, Ana Brun was the first artist to appear on the Bonito de Bonito Fame (MS) sidewalk.

Called South American Film Footwear Sidewalks, it was inspired by the famous Los Angeles sidewalk in the United States. But it has a more pantanal footprint: next to the actress’s hands is an image of the paws of a child, an animal of the biome fauna.

The gesture, according to Cinesur director Nilson Rodrigues, symbolizes the coexistence between human beings and the environment.
“We walked together with the other living beings on the planet,” he said during an event where five South American audiovisual personalities left their hands marked on signs.
“Over the years, we will register here in Bonito these South American, Brazilian and Mato Grosso artists who make the history of cinema and audiovisual. We will have the paws of animals next to human paws. As we are in beautiful, this ecological paradise, we will say that humans and animals walk together. This is what we have to save the planet. Planet, ”said Rodrigues.
According to him, Calçada da Fama will be above all a memory space for the city. “We have to be committed to memory, to our trajectory, to the record of what is our culture, what is symbolic and that is so important.”
This year, 11 South American audiovisual personalities who are participating in Cinesur will leave their marks on cement signs, which will then be transported to Liberdade Square, in the center of Bonito City.
“Our square will be all revitalized in the future and we will have the fame sidewalk in this square,” said Bonito Mayor Josmail Rodrigues.
The first to leave the marks on the signs, shortly after actress Ana Brun, were Brazilian actors Antonio Pitanga and Maeve Jinkings, independent distributor Jean Thomaz Bernardini and teacher and producer Cecilia Diez.
Throughout this week, other personalities will also be honored: local artist Humberto Espíndola, actress Claudia Ohana, actor Thiago Lacerda, filmmaker José Eduardo Belmonte, documentary filmmaker Aurélio Michillis and director and screenwriter Luiz Carlos Lacerda.
“Bonito will be the capital of cinema in the future,” said the mayor of the city.

“Here is inaugurating the heart of the cinema in Bonito. For me, it is a brand not only of the hands, but also of the heart. Since I can not put my heart, I put my hands,” said actor Antonio Pitanga to Brazil agency.
Actress Maeve Jinkings was also thrilled. “I found this project so intelligent, because it plays, of course, with the imagination of any movie buff compared to Hollywood. And I think it transposes this imaginary with a very local, very its own identity, bringing not only this imagination of the hands of our species, but also from other species, rescuing our memory about a diversity of fauna that we forget very easily,” he said.
“It touches me a lot. I know it’s a subject that easily generates discomfort, but environmentalism is a theme that guides many of my daily decisions. It’s something that stretches me a lot, so I’m very happy to see a festival organizing around an idea that greets the environment in this way,” added the actress.
The plates are made of iron and a special cement, where the hallmark of each personalities is recorded, along with their signature. On the board, there is also a photo of the artist, accompanied by the name and date he was recorded. Just below the artist’s photo, there is an animal footprint, accompanied by popular and scientific names.
