More than 100 companies exporters From Peru, Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador, as well as 50 international buyers, mainly from Latin America and the Caribbean will participate in the XIV Andean Business Meeting (EEA), which will be held in the city of Montería, capital of the department of Córdoba, Colombia, on August 12 and 13, 2025.
This was announced in an official presentation ceremony, the Andean Committee of Export Promotion authorities formed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, Procolombia, Proecuador and Promperú, together with the General Secretariat of the Andean Community and the support of the Government of the Department of Córdoba.
The fourth edition of the Andean Business Meeting (EEA) has prioritized the Horeca channel (hotels, restaurants and coffee shops) and related industries. It is expected to specify more than 600 business appointments among the participants, who will be able to access new commercial opportunities to consolidate their internationalization.
Alberto Lora, General Director of Productive Transformation, Physical Integration and Services of the General Secretariat of the Andean Community, stressed that the Andean Business Meeting “strengthens regional value chains, allows to take advantage of the free trade environment between the Andean countries and drives extra -regional trade.” He noted that it is an extraordinary opportunity to boost the development of the industries associated with the Horeca channel, which has a prominent role in the Andean subregion.
Carmen Caballero Villa, president of Procolombia, stressed that “the XIV Andean Business Meeting is held in Montería, a territory with export vocation and a vibrant cultural identity.
