Five games on Saturday night (26) opened the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship. The highlight was the Palmeiras, who defeated Grêmio 1-0 at Allianz Parquein Sao Paulo and reached 32 points, in third place, with a point less than Flamengo, vice-leader and two less than the leader Cruzeiro, who has one more game than both.
The goal of Victory Palmeirense took place early in the match. After two minutes, after a cross from the right, Piquerez deflected to the middle of the area, Maurício straightened and Uruguayan Facundo Torres finished with category with his left leg, puffing out the right angle of the goal nets defended by Tiago Volpi.
