The last three medals came on the penultimate day of competition, with judo, triple leap and men’s basketball.
In Judo, played at the Essen Essen Sports Complex, in Essen, Brazil’s mixed team took the bronze medal, with a 4-2 win over Kazakhstan.
Guilherme Oliveira secured the podium by winning by Ippon, Nurkanat Serikbayev. He came out with his face with battle marks, but happy with the result.

THE Brazil’s last medal at the world university games was from men’s basketball. In one epic departure against the United Statesin the Messe Essen complex, The team won by 94 to 88, and took the gold.
