The founder of the party a new time, Manuel Rosales, said that in the opposition there are those who deceive people
The former governor of the state Zulia Manuel Rosales pointed out this Sunday, after participating in the elections of mayors and local councils, that in the country there is no other way to negotiate and seek the vote to leave, he said, of the political crisis.
«There is no other way here than to negotiate, seek the vote, seek a democratic agreement and get this country out of this misfortune, the country with greater oil wealth, for what? We should be better than Dubai, ”Rosales said from the outskirts of his voting center in Maracaibo, Zulia state.
In his opinion, the majority opposition of the country that decided not to participate in these elections is “deceiving people.”
The opposition that is grouped in the Democratic Unitary Platform Coalition (POD) refused to go to the municipal ones, as well as the regional and legislative last May, considering that there was “fraud” in the presidential 2024, in which the National Electoral Council (CNE) proclaimed the victory of the president Nicolás Maduro.
He could insist that the winner of the presidential elections of July 28, 2024 was his candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia.
Rosales says that opposition deceives people
«People have understood that they cheated her. They said they do not vote on May 25 (past), which after two days, the three days will be a change, the votes were lost. Now we are going to tell people, ah, and within two or three months they leave for Miami and Madrid, I don’t know where, and they leave us all pressed (trapped). That is the truth, ”he criticized.
Rosales, who lost the Government of Zulia last May in front of the Chavista Luis Caldera, said that in Venezuela they have “wanted to disappear” the vote and there have been attempts to “destroy any democratic alternative.”
The opposition leader María Corina Machado said Saturday that Chavismo will remain alone in this Sunday’s municipal elections, said, in the presidential presidential ones of July 28, 2024 and in the regional ones of May 25.
González Urrutia – exiled in Spain since last September – warned this Saturday, in an interview published in the Spanish newspaper El País, that the municipal elections of this Sunday in Venezuela “are not free or fair or transparent” and therefore does not participate in them Pod.
