After ten months of partnership in the mixed pairs, the Brazilians Hugo Calderano and Bruna Takahashi won their first gold on Saturday night (26), in the contest of the WTT Contender of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In the final, the Brazilian duo-who is also a couple off the court-defeated the partnership formed by the Indians Harmeet Desai and Yashaswini Ghorpade by 3 sets to 0, with partials from 17-15, 11-7 and 13-11.
This was the fifth championship that the two Brazilians played together. Before the title in Argentina, the best result was a silver at the Star Contender of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
