More than 200 events have already been registered on the National Calendar of Tourist Events platform, managed by the Ministry of Tourism. The system gathers the different cultural manifestations from north to south and has useful data to help tourists when planning their trips and choosing destinations in the country.
Municipalities wishing to publicize their local and regional events scheduled for 2022 on the calendar can register them on the ministry’s website.
The platform is used for cities to register shows, fairs and events, with categories such as artistic, cultural and folkloric, religious, rural, civic, gastronomic and sports.
To register the event for free in the calendar, the user must access the website and include the applicant and event data. Then, just click on “submit” and wait for the analysis, approval and disclosure of the MTur’s technical team. If the event is approved, it is included in the calendar and available for public access.
