There is no more useless weapon than nuclear weapons that, in addition to not being used to resolve any conflict, have been about to provoke some, as happened in Cuba during the 1962 missile crisis, a moment that validated the statement that missiles and atomic eyelets cause more danger than security.
The unusual bombardment of Iran facilities a few weeks ago is another evidence that, without nuclear weapons, each country and the world together would be a safer place.
In eighty years, billions of dollars have been spent to manufacture thousands of atomic bombs and more than two thousand nuclear tests have been carried out, without fortunately, none has been used.
Since the 50s to date thousands of atomic submarines have been manufactured, of which there are about 200. At the end of the cold war, there were more than 400 of them afloat. No less than 300 were scrapped.
Although electricity production from nuclear energy is a technological conquest, in almost 100 years, electricity produced with uranium does not cover even 10 % of world demands and there are more than 170 countries that do not have any nuclear plant.
Difficult and dangerous
Although I am reluctant to demonization of some technologies, as has happened in some environments, I recognize that, regarding uranium, everything is difficult and extremely dangerous.
To top it off, there is no way to get rid of the waste and it is extremely complicated to close the mines, reactors, nuclear plants, centrifuges and other facilities when they stop being useful.
I was frightened by finding out that Marie Curie, the brilliant scientist, inventor of the term radioactivity, had to be buried in a lead -lined coffin and that her remains are still radioactive, as well as her grave. Their documents cannot be consulted given the level of radioactivity they retain.
Nuclear activity, including electricity generation, nuclear fuels and engineering associated with it especially, is dual purpose; It serves the same to generate electricity than to build nuclear ammunition.

Risks, tensions and misfortunes
