Quintero: 89% progress records electoral schedule for 27j

The vice president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, reported that the electoral schedule presents 89% progress after reporting a successful execution, in the face of municipal elections and the National Popular Consultation of Youth, scheduled for next Sunday, July 27.

Then, he said that “99.02% of the electoral tables have been installed throughout the national territory,” highlighting that the electoral schedule remains in advance with firmness and organization.

Likewise, he explained that the highest electoral body first assumed in its history two electoral processes in a single day, referring to the municipal elections, where the new authorities of the 335 mayorships and 2,471 councilors will be chosen, as well as the first national popular consultation for youth.

In a telephone interview with VTV, Quintero emphasized that 53 national, regional political organizations and indigenous representations participate in the municipal elections, in which 148 thousand 554 postulated, corresponding to 15,791 candidates and candidates participated, a figure that exceeds the municipal election of 2021 ″.

He insisted on stating that the CNE has a contingency mechanism to guarantee the operation of the automated system with 1234 collection centers to correct any type of eventuality in record time.

He stressed that “the CNE is ready for this unprecedented election day, and it is a challenge for democracy, for peace, and for all the Venezuelan people.”

All to vote on 27j

Quintero called electors and electors to go out this Sunday to exercise their right to vote. “The table is served, and everyone goes out to vote from early hours to 6 in the afternoon.”

He said that the Republic Plan will deploy 379,989 officials to guarantee the protection of the electoral material and the voting centers on July 27. All national security entities will be “at the order of the vote”, in order to offer security to both processes and also to citizens.

He affirmed that the maximum electoral body prepared 20,410 tables for municipal elections and 15,937 manual tables for the National Popular Youth Consultation.

In that sense, the official said that 15,731 voting centers will be enabled throughout the national territory, and with them, 93,104 table members to cover both processes. They will also have 60,515 technicians to ensure the proper functioning of the machinery.

In addition, 1,024 contingency transmission centers will be available “so that machines that cannot be transmitted from their origin can do so and the CNE can give the results in the shortest possible time once the day is closed.”

The Vice President of the CNE, Carlos Quintero, said that on Sunday, August 3, the elections will be held in 69 municipalities of the country for the representation of the same number of councilors and councilors in the indigenous communities.

International veterans toured CNE sheds

From the CNE sheds, located in the ranks of Mariche, Miranda State, international veterans conclude their tour of these facilities for the electoral process that will be carried out this Sunday, July 27.

In that sense, the international seer Alfredo Arévalo stressed that electoral machines have already reached their centers and are being enabled, and pointed out that the only thing missing is that Venezuelans come to exercise their right to vote.
