The president of Conseomerce José Gregorio Rodríguez said that Chevron’s work resumption in the national oil sector also represents a significant opportunity to improve exchange dynamics
The National Council of Commerce and Services (Conseomercio) celebrated this Friday, July 25, the restart of Chevron’s operations in the country and considered that this action reinforces international confidence in Venezuela’s productive capacity.
In this sense, the president of consequence José Gregorio Rodríguez said that above any difference, the dialogue must always be a tool that allows an agreement to be reached. “Therefore, from consequence, we advocate for its consolidation and permanence in time.”
For Conseomerce, Chevron’s work resumption in the national oil sector also represents a significant opportunity to improve exchange dynamics.

The institution considered that the private sector could access a percentage of foreign exchange through private banking, which would open an additional financial valve, although still insufficient, to meet the needs.
“Of course, the volume of currencies that is needed is much greater, but in one way or another these positions and conditions so that the private sector can have an industrial and productive role in the country can be progressively improving,” said the representative of the Commerce and Services sector.
