The president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, emphasized that “the intention and objective of the fascist, is called Adolf Hitler, Benjamín Netanyahu or Nayid Bukele, is to end the condition of the human, hence the gravity and deeply pathological character of those beings, deeply delzineable.”
Jorge Rodríguez, who participated this Friday in the Congress of the Peoples: for peace and against war, he said that it is also outrageous “the position of the entire culture Europe.”
He said that, if fascism is allowed to “go out with yours in Palestine, it is the entire humanity that will have failed.”
Rodríguez, drew a controversial analogy among three world leaders – Adolf Hitler, Benjamín Netanyahu and Nayib Bukele – whom he pointed out for sharing the same “pathology.”
“The fascist’s goal is to end the human condition”
Rodríguez said that fascism, regardless of the context or the name that embodies it, seeks to destroy the human in its essence. To do this, he quoted German Jewish psychiatrist Viktor Frankl, survivor of Nazi concentration camps and author of The man in search of meaningas a reference to argue that systematic pain and dehumanization are tools of totalitarianism.
In his speech, the parliamentarian said that, for decades, the Palestinian people have resisted abuse and occupation, and described the Netanyahu government as a “criminal and genocidal”.
He also expressed outrage towards the “cultured Europe” that, according to him, remains indifferent while continuing to sell weapons to Israel.
“(…) Then the media called her the 12 -day war, as if the Palestinians are not 70 years old and fighting for their land, fighting for their territory, fighting for their republic, fighting for the bones of their dead ancestors that are buried there,” he said.
Criticism of Bukele and United States
Rodríguez told Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, accusing him of having negotiated 6 million dollars with the US for the torture of 252 young Venezuelans.
He denounced that they were isolated, attacked, and subject to cruel treatment, without contact with family members or human rights organizations.
“6 million dollars was going to charge Bukele to the United States government for having to undergo wild torture to about 252 young Venezuelans. He ran out of 6 million dollars because if something characterizes the United States government with their dragged, with their kneeling, it is that when it no longer serves him he kicks him for the butt,” he said.
Venezuela in Resistencia: “They gave us hard, but we beat them”
To conclude, he highlighted the struggle of the Venezuelan people in the face of the sanctions imposed by the US, stating that “964 sanctions in less than a year brought 1%oil revenues.” However, he celebrated the recovery of the country as a vibrant democracy and in peace. “But now I want to tell you that we beat them, that we defeat them, that Venezuela more advances towards a form of government and society where we all have a voice, where we can all say.”
He reiterated that “they brought the oil revenues to 1% of what entered Venezuela five years before, yes, and the welfare state that Hugo Chávez had been kneading with their hands,” he said.
