The Ministry of Tourism will begin from this Saturday, July 26 Its new tourism promotion project “Rhythm of the Coast”, which will take place in different provinces and will run until November 29.
This project aims to significantly impact the provinces of Santo Domingo, La Romana, Samaná, San Cristóbal and María Trinidad Sánchez through a series of tourist and cultural activities.
The main purpose of “rhythm of the coast” is to promote local tourism, providing communities with attractive cultural and artistic experiences, and at the same time stimulate and promote merengue, recognized as Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Through monthly activations, which will be held on the last Saturday of each month, it is also sought to highlight the importance of public spaces and promote social cohesion in each of the destinations involved.
The novel initiative starts on Saturday, July 26 at the Malecon of the Santo Domingo Este municipality, with the presentation of prominent orchestras.
The following month, in August, rhythm of the coast will have as their stage the Malecón de Caleta, La Romana, while September, the new platform will leave its traces of joys in the newly opened Malecón de Samaná.
