The High Commissioner and Local Authorities agreed to implement the strategy of “Urban Paz” in Barrancabermeja.
Barrancabermeja will be included within the “Urban Paz” process, of the National Government, in which cities such as Medellín, Buenaventura and Barranquilla are also included.

The High Commissioner Otty Patiño stressed that this effort should be understood as part of a route to improve the conditions of coexistence in Magdalena Medio and give peaceful exit to the situation of violence that affects Barranqueños.
