Outside the District Municipality of El Tambo, municipal workers and citizens lit candles as a sign of solidarity with businessman Fredy Coarita, who for the eighth consecutive day fulfills a hunger strike and remains chained in protest of a millionaire debt that the municipality maintains with it.

The demonstration included the symbolic presence of a donkey and a poster where Mayor César Llalllico is represented as a capibara, accompanied by the message: “Pay, Capibara Monster.”
Fredy Coarita denounced that, despite his repeated requests, Mayor César Llalllico remains silent and avoids any direct dialogue. The only official who has attended it, he said, has been the municipal manager José Antonio Chang, who even worked during the holiday and promised to find a prompt solution.

The protest has generated a strong impact on the Tambina population, which requires the Burgomaster to honor debts with suppliers and stop ignoring claims. The situation continues to develop under police surveillance.
